Does anyone know about Residencyswap.org? one month Subscription is $79.99. Has anyone tried it? why should I pay for one month on this website instead of paying findaresident? Please help. Thank you

do not try it. go through eras either match or findaresident (75 US for one year). all others firms are fraudulent.

ResidentSwap.org is legit. I used it & I have gotten several emails about new openings. When I called the programs, these were all real openings.

Nonetheless, you have other choices. The best method is to go to the sites and compare, and also to check them on google for peoples' opinions (go to google and type in “findaresident forum” or “residentswap forum”). Never take just one person's opinion on a forum, they might be working for that company.

Below are my personal opinions.

Residentswap:
Most number of spots of all the other services. Convenient to use due to the alerts. Website was somewhat nonintuitive to use at first.

Findaresident:
I had the 2007 subscription. Decent # of spots in some specialties, but it's completely missing surgery, ob/gyn, and several others. Less spots than residentswap. You have to check it periodically for new openings.

CareerMD:
I did not use it, but I checked out their site when shopping around. Pay attention to the DATES of openings. Most of them are from 2005 / 2006 !!! I did not see any new openings.

Openspots:
I did not use it, but again I checked out their site. Judging by the dates of the openings being all the same, it seems to be updated only once a week or so. It seems to have less spots than residentswap / findaresident.

I really do not believe in swapping residencies concept.
In spite of one's desire to trade his spot, this does not necessarily play well with program way of hiring residents.

I have done help with research paper work on this site “Residencyswap” and this is incredible. So if you would pay for one month subscription so I am sure it will be worthwhile. So don’t worry and go for it.
