Residency openings

Gentlemen,

If any of you who have registered with the Match could forward me a list of residency/intership openings, I would be very grateful. I did not get my exams in time to register for the Match, and now that I am certified, it is too late.

Rather than wait a year to enter, I'd like to try to contact the programs, but without having registered for the Match, I can't find a list of openings.

Just for your information - there is no such thing as a list of openings.
Typically a single opening at this time of year gets 700+ application the next day after publishing.

I wanted to share this, so that you know what you are dealing with.

That's true; it's even more difficult to get in during the scramble. But on the bright side, there are usually a bunch of openings after the scramble and also mid-year. Last year there were a lot of openings in FM & psych. You can call programs and ask if they have an opening, or see the lists on www Resident Swap org
